What's new in the world of BMC Bikes?

Bicycle technology has come on leaps and bounds over the years, with modern bikes very different from those just a couple of decades or so ago. The latest top of the range bikes use the very best high-tech materials and components to help riders go faster and for longer.

However, as impressive as some of the latest bikes can be, Swiss bike manufacturer BMC is aiming to develop a masterpiece that is better than anything else.

A True Racing Pedigree

BMC was founded in 1986 and has since gone from strength to strength. The company has a proud pedigree, having supplied the Swiss road racing team. Some of the best riders from around the globe have ridden BMC bikes to win some of the most prestigious events in the cycling calendar, including the Tour de France.

To help them develop what is expected to be the fastest bike in the world, BMC has teamed up with another racing giant – Red Bull. With help from Red Bull's state of the art facilities, BMC is in with a great chance of building a bike that will take professional cycling by storm.

As good as Red Bull's facilities are, BMC also have some impressive resources themselves. For example, the company has its own carbon production facility, which has greatly influenced how it makes its bikes.

Pushing Boundaries

Working alongside Red Bull, BMC is looking to develop a bike that pushes boundaries. The team has incorporated some radical innovations that will help give them an edge over the competition.

BMC believes that they are onto the gamechanger, and they've developed a prototype that has already shown 'incredible' performance, giving them plenty to build on. While BMC has revealed little so far, it's a development that anybody and everybody in the cycling world should be excited about.
