The meticulously engineered Vent Carbon Sole of the Sixty is designed to maximize power transfer, while incorporating flex in the front end to enhance comfort during long rides. Additionally, an integrated vent can be adjusted, allowing riders to adapt to varying weather conditions, whether it's the heat of Italy or the cooler climate of the UK.
The Tecno-4 closure system of the Sixty represents a remarkable advancement from Sidi's original rotor closure system introduced in 1988. This innovative mechanism features a single rotor, reducing the shoe's weight while ensuring precise and micro-adjustable closure. The tension release has been improved, enabling faster and more efficient closure and release. As with all Sidi shoes, the Tecno-4 system is replaceable.
In addition to the rotor system, the Sixty incorporates a high-security Velcro strap across the front of the shoe, featuring integrated teeth that interlock when closed, providing a secure fit and distributing the load evenly.
The upper of the Sixty is crafted from TechPro Microfibre, an eco-friendly leatherette known for its durability, stability, and water-repellent properties. An anti-mold treatment prevents bacterial growth, while the Nylon mesh in the upper enhances breathability and creates an ideal microclimate inside the shoe for all-day comfort. Velcro tabs on the inside keep the tongue perfectly positioned.
The fully integrated heel design of the Sixty is reinforced to maintain its shape and provide excellent support during prolonged use. With its anatomical shape, the heel stabilizes the foot and prevents slippage, particularly crucial during challenging climbs, sprints, and intense efforts. For added safety in low visibility conditions, a Reflex insert helps signal your presence to other road users.
