Since 2002, the Aspide has been the flagship model of the Selle San Marco collection. Throughout its almost 20-year history, it has supported numerous cyclists to victory in World Tour Events, thanks to its perfect combination of comfort and lightness. Now, the Aspide takes another step forward by becoming "Short," increasing comfort levels and delivering pure cycling pleasure.
The Aspide Short features the Wide Open-Fit design with clean, minimalist lines that guarantee optimal comfort and even greater lightness. The slim front section ensures excellent leg freedom during pedaling, while the rear support helps maintain the riding position. Although particularly suited for road use, the Aspide also excels in performance on various terrains.

XSILITE RAILS
Constructed with a high percentage of silicon particles, titanium, and carbon, Xsilite rails are light, strong, and resistant to all weather conditions. The stealth technology employed in the manufacturing process enhances their strength against fatigue stress.
CARBON FIBRE REINFORCED SHELL
The shell is made of nylon enriched with a substantial amount of long carbon fiber to reinforce its rigidity, stiffness, and durability without compromising weight.
BIOFOAM
The biodynamic structure of the Biofoam padding follows the movements of the pelvis during pedaling, providing exceptional comfort, reduced weight, long-lasting resistance, and ideal support. The "closed cells" surface repels water, maintaining the performance of the padding even in wet conditions.
MICROFEEL COVER
The Microfeel cover is breathable, hard-wearing, and lighter than traditional materials. It offers an extraordinary grip on the saddle, ensuring an anti-skid effect. Additionally, the biocompatible nature of the material adds

NEW ERGONOMY
The Aspide Short features the perfect balance between the support and relief zone. The "big hole" design helps maintain comfort under pressure and provides day-long support and comfort. The central relief zone is long enough to accommodate all riding positions.
