Description
The new GND saddle from Selle San Marco has been meticulously designed and engineered to achieve the perfect balance of pressure relief and support zones. Its wider and softer front section sets it apart from other saddles in the collection, providing exceptional comfort even in aggressive riding positions, such as uphill climbs. The innovative design, ergonomic features, and generous rear saddle width offer optimal support for cyclists, even during less intense pedaling moments.
The GND saddle is specifically designed for off-road cycling, with features that make it particularly suitable for such terrain. It incorporates an open-shell structure to relieve pressure and features full-fit (no hole) padding to prevent mud from soiling cycling bibs. The dual-density padding optimizes support zones at the front and rear, while two "shock-absorber" inserts effectively reduce vibrations transmitted from the bike to the cyclist, especially on rugged off-road terrains.
The GND-E variant of the saddle includes the addition of GEL inserts between the padding and cover, maximizing comfort during long rides. This variant is especially suitable for use with E-Bikes. Like the standard GND saddle, it is covered with a double material composition: resilient "microfeel" for the support zones and two areas in "woven" fabric to ensure maximum resistance against abrasion and scratching on the sides of the saddle.

MANGANESE RAILS
The GND saddle features manganese rails, enhancing the frame's durability and resistance to wear caused by shocks. This type of rail is utilized in our Dynamic level saddles.
CARBON FIBER REINFORCED SHELL
The shell is constructed from nylon with a high proportion of long carbon fiber, reinforcing its rigidity, stiffness, and durability without compromising weight. The open-shell design is fitted with additional foam support to prevent dirt or mud from entering through the gap.
BIOFOAM + GEL
The biodynamic structure of the Biofoam padding follows the pelvic movements during pedaling, ensuring comfort, reduced weight, long-lasting durability, and optimal support. The surface with "closed cells" repels water, preserving the padding's performance in wet conditions. A thin layer of gel support provides enhanced comfort in all riding situations, making the saddle suitable for E-MTB and gravel riding as well.
MICROFEEL COVER
The Microfeel cover is breathable, resistant to wear, lighter than traditional materials, and less prone to deformity. It offers an anti-skid effect and provides extraordinary grip on the saddle. Additionally, the material is biocom
